Our Story And How It All Started

Here at Pizza Espresso we only use the finest quality produce in creating our woodfired pizza. Nothing but the best flour goes into making our dough, which then gets rested until dough is ready to use. So our pizzaiolo can deliver our characteristic crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside bases. We have operated in this way since we first opened in 1997, producing artisan pizza for the soul. With a menu that includes much-loved classics and a revolving specials board, our customers return for the highest quality of ingredients in both elegant and exciting combinations. Our pasta dishes reflect the simplicity and care which characterises Italian cooking, of which hand-made gnocchi and the perfect Napoli sauce is just one example. Pizza Espresso has come to be a local institution, loved by those who have known us for years, and a welcome discovery for those who visit for the first time.
